Producing hollow flanges for pipelines by the method of electroslag permanent mould casting with a movable mandrel

摘要

Technology of producing hollow flanges by the method of a permanent mould casting instead of stamping is suggested. The new technology makes it possible to reduce the number of technological operations, to increase the metal utilization factor. The properties of casting metal meet the requirements and are at the level of properties of flanges made of a wrought metal.
