摘要

Experimental comparison of the efficiency of tantalum refining using a radial and axial schemes of the electron beam heating was carried out. It is shown that at redial electron beam heating and a vertical feeding of the consumable billet a deeper refining of tantalum from the interstitial impurities is provided and the yield of the efficient metal is increased.
