The optimal parameters selection questions for roller welding wire feeding mechanisms are considered. Methods of outside diameters and wedge-type grooves angles calculation are proposed. These methods provide optimal design of roller units. Such design of rollers foresees losses minimization at the electrode wire feeding as well as its deformation absence during welding process. Calculation results according to developed methods are in rather close agreement with obtained practical features of the welding wire feeding.
