摘要

Several types of degradation phenomena are possible when hydrogen penetrates into steel. Whether hydrogen-induced cracking, hydrogen embrittlement, or hydrogen attack occurs is dependent on the strength of the steel and the environmental temperature. This paper describes the hydrogen-monitoring method proposed by Prof. Yamakawa, which made use of an electrochemical hydrogen permeation technique to predict the degradation of steel, and then presents actual monitoring results.
