Numeric method for designing ground dams is worked out in the paper with account of finite--differential relations. This method takes into consideration wave character of dam motion-at dynamic effect from foundation. Dynamic behavior of a ground dam with account of elastoplastic deformation of media is studied. Zones of formation and development of plastic flows in the body of the dam is shown.
