"Quality is our image" is the ACR's motto. Quality is the most important service we can provide for our patients. Our patients are often impressed with our diagnostic skills. However, they have also heard about medical misadventures through such reports as the Institute of Medicine's [1] To Err Is Human. As a result, our patients are increasingly interested not merely in access to health care but in access to quality health care.
