CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

Californians have had a longstanding commitment to ensuring a healthy environment. As a result, the demand for more efficient and cost-effective environmental technologies has increased. The California Environmental Technology Partnership (CETP), with members from academia, public interest groups, industry, and the financial and legal communities, was created to ensure these demands were met and to foster growth in the state's $22 billion per year environmental technology industry. CETP found that technology developers and manufacturers confront many difficulties in fulfilling the demands to achieve California's goals for a clean environment.
