IMAGINE an environment in which com-petition for staff and patients is set aside. Imagine a place where nurses statewide come together and share ideas on how to improve both the quality of patient care and image of nursing. Imagine staff and leaders gathering to share best practices, policies, and lessons learned. The Magnet Roundtable takes us from imaginary thinking to the reality of placing patient care and nurses' work life first for all in a state, not only one institution.
