This is the second special issue of the journal in honor of Andrei Suslin, who will be 60 years old this month. The first special issue appeared in June of this year, just before the international conference in Andrei’s honor at the Steklov Institute in St. Petersburg. In the foreword to that issue, we described highlights of Andrei’s contributions to mathematics over the past three and a half decades. In the current foreword, we display a few pictures taken during the St. Petersburg conference. The first one is of Andrei during his lecture at the conference and the next one shows him listening to a question at the conclusion of the lecture. The last is a group photo of the conference participants. We thank Evgeny Plotkin for making these pictures available to us.
