Daikin Releases New PACs with Automatic Filter Cleaning Function

From May 1, Daikin will release the Clean ZEAS S-Q series of ceiling-concealed cassette type packaged air conditioners (PACs) for office use incorporating an automatic filter cleaning function for the first time in commercial ACs. The new series consists of 26 models (4.0 - 28.0 kW). The outdoor unit of the P80 class model has attained the industry's top APF (annual performance factor) of 5.5 by adopting a new-type swing compressor and new refrigerant circuit, thus realizing about a 60% reduction in power consumption compared to the previous rnodel released 10 years ago.
