Adding the Levant Basin in the far eastern Mediterranean to the Nile Delta Basin, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) estimates that some 345 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of gas is undiscovered and technically recoverable in the Eastern Mediterranean.
