Train 4, the first 7.8 million metric ton per year (mty) train, at Qatargas 2, has begun commissioning, according to a Qatargas spokesperson. A subsequent train of equal size is scheduled to come online in late 2009, which will increase Qatargas 2's production capacity to 15.6 mty.
