After the weather of late, I am sure that there are many who will disagree with my comments last month about global warming. We escaped most of the snow and we did not get the rain that many parts of the country, and the Continent, got. It's tunes like that when we are glad that we are close to the sea so the salt air melts the snow, and 200m above sea level so there is little danger of being flooded. The heat wave continues, but for how long? Will the old saying 'If Candlemas Day be bright and gay it will prolong winter until May' come true as Candlemas Day could not have been brighter?
