The cow is not a pig! You might think this is obvious, but I have been surprised how many problems occur around the world because farmers and advisers forget the cow is a ruminant. A few months ago I talked with a group of our new American customers.Although many of them achieve very high milk yields, many herds have suffered serious health problems, especially laminitis and displaced abomasums.
