Triconex, Irvine, California, an Invensys plc business unit, has contracts to provide safety and turbomachinery control systems at Jubail United Petrochemical Co.'s (JUPC) new Al-Jubail plant. JUPC is a wholly owned Saudi Basic Industries Corp. subisidiary. The facility has a US3.5 billion total project value, which includes the US6 million contracts for the safety and turbomachinery systems. The first phase is scheduled to be completed by late 2004.
