We hear it all the time-after 9/11, everything having to do with security changed. It forced us to take a second look at many things in our lives and it was natural to look at the security of our critical infrastructure including roads, waterways, airports and bridges. Of course, chemical security had to be part of that. Lawmakers wanted to make sure that companies using, making and storing chemicals were taking the steps to secure their facilities and contents.
