Far-UK of Nottingham, UK, has launched a carbon fibre chassis that it says is affordable for use by small carmakers. The company is selling a range of fully crash-test-compliant modular carbon fibre-reinforced plastics (CFRP) spaceframes, called the Far Platform Chassis (FPC) and based on braided beams, which can then be customized by niche carmakers to their individual needs.
