摘要

I enjoyed science at school and wanted to work with people. Then I read a careers booklet during my A levels that highlighted opportunities in environmental health. I did some work experience in an environmental health department and loved the variety of work and the contribution it made to improving people's health. My parents also helped me on my way; they made it a condition that my degree had to involve a job at the end of it or they weren't paying!
