Prompt gas prices at both the UK's National Balancing Point (NBP) and at Northwest European hubs have tumbled to well below 0 per million Btu, just weeks after long-term contractual prices across much of Continental Europe jumped above that level for possibly the first time (WGI Jan.16,p6).
