The memorandum of understanding(MOU)signed by Thailand's PTT Exploration and Production(PTTEP)last week with Golar LNG for joint development of floating production and liquefaction(FLNG)projects represents more than a strategic push by the company to expand its global upstream business.It also marks a new stage in efforts to secure gas for Thailand.
