With as much as 20 billion dollars worth of resource development being predicted in our region over the next decade, the Western Australian fabrication, contracting and support industries are about to gain full access to their best asset. The 200 million dollars Australian Marine Complex at Jervoise Bay, on Cockburn Sound, is a showcase for the state's competitiveness, manufacturing skills and standards. It has the potential to generate 250 million dollars in new work for the region every year, providing at least 1600 direct full-time jobs and indirect employment for 3000 people.
