摘要

THE company that has been a leader in the Western Australian body-building industry for nearly all its 32 years of existence is on the comeback trail. Following a comprehensive internal restructuring, TL Engineering says it is now ready to reassert its leadership. Under the management team of general manager Michael Kenyon and executive director Gerry Northway, the Bayswater-based motor vehicle body and accessory manufacturer has implemented programs to improve the company's productivity and performance - and particularly its ability to meet delivery targets. Northway, who had been a non-executive director of the company for about six years since private company Vysarn Pty Ltd acquired the business, stepped in to manage the production side of the business early this year. He is forthright about the company's plight at the time: "The fact is that we had lost a bit of credibility over the years."
