CAPITOL COMMENTS: A GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS UPDATE

TIA has been working with a few other small business associations to develop an on-line health care reform planning tool. Since the Supreme Court ruled on the health care reform law, I have been getting questions from members about what to do. Thus, we are constructing a modest health care planning tool for our members to use. As the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act (PPACA) changes the health care landscape it is going to present decisions for businesses of all sizes regardless of whether the business is required to accept certain responsibilities by law or not. While many pieces to the puzzle of what your business should do are still missing, it is not too soon to start thinking about the next steps for your business.
