When you walk around the boat show you will see boats from time to time that look perfect for your needs. It could be a small tinnie, or a full-blown sports fisher, but believe me, once you start using that boat there will always be room for improvement! When I began renovating my present boat - a Formula 233 some five years ago I thought I had a pretty good idea of what I'd needed. Once it was launched that would be it, I thought. However, since the launch of the boat I'm still finding little thingsto change, or add to the boat. In short, in the nature of boat ownership you'll always find room for improvement! One of the most overlooked areas in all boats is storage. It's always a challenge to find room to store all the things that you want to take, let alone all the things you MUST carry for safety reasons. On the latter score what you take will also vary from trip to trip. For example, you obviously won't need a 12in flying gaff if you are fishing for whiting!
