The deposit at Cerro Blanco is essentially a hill-the top of which is 1000 metres above sea-level-which lends itself to quarry-style exploitation.The titanium (rutile) mineralisation is hosted by a Cretaceous to Tertiary tonalite orebody,consisting primarily of quartz and feldspar.There are only trace amounts of magnetic minerals in the resource.
