MY FIRST SUCCESS STORY is about MartinLevesque, Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal, whose shot peening programs at the university provide valuable peen forming research to local aerospace companies, and whose students receive a great education in a viable, progressive field of manufacturing. Prof. Levesque has also conducted important shot peening research and is a capable conference organizer-these are the reasons the International Scientific Committee for Shot Peening elected him as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee for the Thirteenth International Conference on Shot Peening in 2017.
