Epichlorohydrin is an important organic chemical raw material and fine chemical product with extensive applications.It can be used as raw material to produce epoxy resin,synthetic glycerin,chlorohydrin rubber and glycidol ether.Besides,it can also be used to synthesize nitroglyc-erin explosives,glass fiber reinforced plastics,electric-insulation products,surfactants,Pharmaceuticals,pesticides,coatings,sizing materials,ion exchange resins and plasticizers.It can be used as solvent for cellulose esters,resins and cellulose ethers and also in the production of chemical stabilizers,chemical dye-stuffs and water treatment agents.
