Recently the State Development Planning Commission of PRC approved the proposed plan of a PVC project in Fujian. The Project is planning to be constructed in the booming petrochemical base-Quangang District of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province, Southeast China. It will cover a PVC unit with annual capacity of 450 000 tons and a caustic soda unit of 160 000 t/a. According to the sources, the total investment wil reach RMB3.556 billion.
