The S&P-TSX Venture composite index jumped 70.16 points in the March 21-25 period to end at 2,314.03, but is still short of its 2,439.83-point peak before the Japan earthquake severely disrupted markets. Sixty-two Venture-listed companies hit 52-week trading highs and 56 fell to new lows. Volume was down to a daily average of 142 million shares traded.
