摘要

In shoe-last high-speed numerical machining, the key step is to generate CNC machining tool path by data sampled from the shoe last rapidly and accurately. By analyzing the characteristics of helical line and the model of the shoe last expressed in cylindrical-polar coordination system, an algorithm for generating spiral tool path of shoe last with varying pitch was presented. By sample data interpolation, mathematic models with different pitch of helical line were built, and the tool paths with different machining parameters were determined. The effectiveness is verified by the emulation and experimental results represented in the paper.
