Last month saw the UK's first ever press event devoted to Fairtrade jewellery and in particular the arrival of Fairtrade gold from East Africa. As well as providing a showcase for collections from a handful of designers and brands working with Fairtrade metals and responsibly-sour ced stones, the afternoon included a panel discussion, chaired by Sarah Carpin of event host, Facets PR.
