Sydney dinner learns: how to resolve a change in project scope when the pipe has been ordered

Over 70 people attended the APGA RSC Sydney Dinner on 1 June 2016. APGA Director and APA Group's Group Executive Infrastructure Development, Kevin Lester gave a presentation on the lessons learnt during the construction of the SEA Gas Pipeline, or as Mr Lester described it, "the pipeline that was looped from the start". Mr. Lester said the description was coined by the SEAGas Project Manager, Stephen Timms. At the time, Kevin Lester was working with construction contractor AJ Lucas, who built the pipeline in a joint venture with Spiecapag.
