This study demonstrates the technical feasibility and initial outcomes after laparoendoscopic single-site, or "single-port," donor nephrectomy. The authors present their experience with 13 live donor nephrectomy procedures and show results comparable with standard laparoscopy. In addition to technical feasibility in all cases, mean operative times, blood loss, warm ischemic time, vascular and ureteral length, postoperative pain scores, and initial graft function were similar to standard lapa-roscopic live donor nephrectomy.
