The number could double as Britain emerges from the deepest recession for over half a century and companies seek to expand their activities. They are attracted to locations ranging from Asfordby in the south to Gascoigne Wood in the north by the facilities on offer - secure, well maintained and well serviced premises, high voltage power supplies and a "flexible" landlord willing to agree affordable rental terms and tenancy arrangements. Says UK COAL's business parks manager Ian Rogers: "When it comes to the provision of facilities and terms, we are substantially more attractive to tenants. The locations, a pleasant and welcoming environment and spacious storage and parking facilities also appeal. It's the complete package at affordable prices."
