摘要

I was a very quiet child and also had ,dyslexia, something that can often make people very insular. I didn't take part in things fully, ainly due to difficnlties with communication. However, I had an inquiring and visual mind, which provided a guiding light through my working life. I think because my father worked in education, he understood that a vocational career can be just as engaging and rewarding as an academic one. Encouraging children is so important and I want to give something back to the community Mentoring dyslexic children is defInitely something I will be getting involved in - even if I am retired by the time I get round to it.
