ISO has issued improved advice on making the change-over to ISO 9001:2000, imaginatively titled "Transition Planning Guidance'. Updated guidance and answers to FAQs keep in line with the revised standard, due for publication later this year.ISO stresses the importance of keeping users aware of all developments in order that 'the introduction of these standards be as seamless possible'. For this reason, ISO has tried to involve user groups, canvassing opinions and expectations and releasing drafts documents as early as possible.
