The Aaron Group of Companies officially appointed Drew Aaron as CEO of the firm. He joined The Aaron Group in 1996 and became pres/COO in 2006. He was appointed to the top position by his father, company chmn Gene Aaron, who will continue as chmn "helping to oversee strategic company growth and large-scale innovation," the company said. "In my 48 years of experience in the paper industry, I have witnessed close to five decades of changes, and specifically with the recent mergers and acquisitions of both mills and clients, I believe it is the right time to transition our company leadership into the hands of the next generation," chmn Aaron said.
