Domtar and Weyerhaeuser last week announced a 13-member board for the new company being formed by the proposed combination of Domtar with Weyerhaeuser's fine paper and related assets.The board would consist of Indian River Asset Management pres.Jack Bingleman,a former Staples executive and a Domtar director;former Weyerhaeuser sr.v.p.for cellulose fiber,white papers,and containerboard manufacturing and engineering Marvin Cooper,formerly of Willamette Industries;Domtar director Louis P.Gignac;Domtar board chairman Brian Levitt;attorney Harold MacKay;former American Forest & Paper Assn.CEO W.Henson Moore;retired Weyerhaeuser sr.v.p.for pulp and white paper Michael R.Onustock,formerly of Willamette Industries;Domtar pres./CEO and director Raymond Royer;Domtar director Robert Steacy;retired Weyerhaeuser exec.v.p.William Stivers;retired exec.v.p.and CAO of electric utility company Exelon Corp.Pamela Strobel;Pacific Millennium Holdings pres./CEO Richard Tan;and Algoma Steel pres./CEO Denis Turcotte,formerly of Tembec.
