For many manufacturers of mixtures, the homogeneity of their products is vitally important. Often, very small amounts- sometimes less than one part per thousand- of' trace elements' have to be mixed into their products. When buying a mixer, these manufacturers need to be absolutely certain that a given type of mixer will produce the required mixture quality. They also need to know how long it will take.
