Asian styrene monomer ended the week trending softer main feedstock benzene prices and weaker demand to head south. With benzene prices down $2/mt at $806.50/mt FOB Korea, the SM FOB Korea benchmark lost $4/mt at $1,050.50/mt, while the CFR China benchmark was down $5/mt at $1,068.50/mt. Over the week, the FOB Korean benchmark slipped 1.13%, or $12/mt, while the CFR China benchmark also lost traction to lose 1.85%, or $20/mt.
