The US ABS price moved higher this week, with producers heard selling between 109 and 120 cents/lb. The price has been pushed higher by tightening feedstocks and increasing demand, sources said. “Demand will not fall off,” one producer said on Wednesday. “If demand stays high — which we think it will for the next 3 to 4 months — consumers will have to decide whether or not to accept the price increases. It seems that customers are accepting the price increases.”
