European monoethylene glycol prices slipped this week under pressure from sharp falls in Asia. Buyers took to the sidelines, in turn, pulling offers down. "It is not about pricing. Interest is waning as derivatives have built up inventories," one producer said. A second producer reported offers at Eur880/mt FCA NWE for April delivery. For prompt deliveries, sellers reported offers at Eur890-910/mt FD NWE. FCA prices were assessed at Eur885-890/mt for NWE. In the bulk market, prices also marched south. For April delivery, offers fell to Eur860-870/mt CIF NWE.
