Feedstock contract costs for June were fully settled this weekwith a Eur30/mt decrease compared to May. Both term andspot markets were pegged in a wide range as marketparticipants moved to adjust to the change in directioncoming from upstream. Feedstocks: Both initial feedstockcontract settlements were eventually followed this week,several days after the first fixtures. The paraxylene contractprice fully settled at Eur1,110/mt ($1,596/mt) and themonoethylene glycol price fully settled at Eur1,015/mt($1,479/mt). PET production costs for June were aroundEur30/mt lower than May, based on the PX and MEGagreements. PET producers were not satisfied with the MEGcontract as they had hoped for a lower fixture.
