The European HDPE spot market was marked by differencesin supply. Injection prices were “firm,” as a result of limitedsupplies, while blowmolding and film continued to bedepressed by ample availability, sources reported. Offers forinjection were reported at Eur1,150-1,200/mt FD NWE,topping the European PE market, even higher thantraditionally more expensive LDPE. Egyptian material washeard being offered at $1,500/mt CIF NWE. HDPE injectionprices were assessed stable this week, at Eur1,150-1,155/mt.
