Styrene monomer spot prices continued tomove lower this week, with sources reporting levels between$1,300-1,350/mt FOB R’dam. Meanwhile, acrylonitrile alsomoved lower as buyers left the market and some sellers reducedoffers to $2,600/mt CIF Med. The product was assessed down$142.50/mt this week, according to Platts data. However, thefalls in these two feedstocks were still being offset by soaringbutadiene prices.
