Canadian trusts Starpoint,Acclaim to join forces

StarPoint Energy Trust and Acclaim Energy Trust have joined forces to create the third-largest conventional oil and gas producing trust in Canada and give weight to those who have predicted a round of consolidation in the sector.Currently being referred to as New Trust,the entity will provide an "opportunity to achieve far greater results than either could have achieved individually," Raul Colborne,StarPoint CEO,said Sep 19.
