Gas pipeline stocks rebound in Q3, but 'lot of risk' remains: analysts

After two consecutive quarters of losses, gas pipeline stocks rallied in the July-through-September period, posting solid gains almost across the board. Spurred in part by stronger gas prices and an improving economy, the group of 15 companies with large interstate gas pipeline holdings tracked by Platts collectively gained 4.46% in value during the third quarter. The group was up a healthy 10.83% for the past 12 months.
