ICE reports 58% jump in net Income, plans new energy products launch

IntercontinentalExchange plans to launch a new set of products — including a mix of over-the-counter and futures contracts in oil, natural gas, power and coal — within six months of launching its new ICE Clear Europe clearinghouse in mid-September, the company's CEO and chairman said Monday. Jeffrey Sprecher said the Atlanta-based company had not been able to launch new products while undergoing the switch between LCH.Clearnet and the new clearinghouse.
