EIA cuts price outlook for 2010-2011 amid swelling storage, domestic supply

Citing high gas storage inventories and strong domestic production, the Energy Information Administration on Wednesday cut its gas price estimates across the board. In its latest short-term energy outlook, EIA shaved 27 cents and 21 cents, respectively, from its month-ago prediction of Henry Hub spot prices for the fourth quarter of 2010 and first quarter of 2011, putting the new targets at $4.16/MMBtu and $4.65/MMBtu.
