摘要

The phase diagram and the normal state pseudogap of HTSC are explained within the frame of band structure and d-pairing induced by valence bond formation. Classification of cuprates is discussed. The s-wave symmetry of La- and Nd-based cuprates is revised according to models in which the finite excitation gap is compatible with the d-symmetry superconducting order.
